What is your favorite thing to do outside of the classroom?
I love reading and going on walks.
What is something students would be surprised to learn about you?
I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in Kindergarten!
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that all children are unique. They each need an environment in which they can grow physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. It is my goal to provide this environment for my students so that each student will meet their potential.
What is one thing a teacher said or did that resonated with you?
My high school math teacher told me that he struggled with math all his life so he became a math teacher to help other children who struggled. I found this to be a profound message, and he was the best math teacher I ever had.
Who has influenced you most as an educator?
Harry Wong influenced me the most. He is an educator, professional speaker, and author.

The most recent book I read was Sold on a Monday by Kristina McMorris.
What is your favorite quote/saying?
My favorite quote/saying is, "A person's a person, no matter how small” by Dr. Seuss.
