What is your teaching philosophy?
It takes a village! The most important thing in a child's education is for teachers and parents (administrators and anyone else who is helping with the child's education) to have great communication and work as a team. If the lines of communication are open, then the children can receive the best possible education. The second most important thing in the classroom is safety. If a child feels safe and comfortable, they will do their best.
Who has influenced you most as an educator?
A former co-worker who always found new and creative ways to teach and keep children engaged influenced me the most as an educator.
What is the most recent book you read?
The most recent book I read was, The Return by Nicholas Sparks.
What is your favorite quote/saying?
My favorite quote/saying is, "Be who you are, and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss
