Teacher Feature of the Week: Mrs. Vizzini

What class do you teach?

I teach reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary for grades 6, 7, and 8.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of the classroom?

I enjoy reading, walking my dog Luna, and spending time with my family.

What is something students would be surprised to learn about you?

I got engaged at a Phillies Braves baseball game and got booed because I was wearing a Braves jersey!
 

What is your teaching philosophy?

Students want to do well, but need someone that believes in them to help them along the way. 
 

What is one thing a teacher said or did that resonated with you?

Find the fun in the day!

 

Who has influenced you most as an educator?

My past teachers have influenced me the most. 
 

What is the most recent book you read?

The most recent book I read was “We Were Liars” by E. Lockhart.

What is your favorite quote/saying?

My favorite quote/saying is: “Be who you needed when you were younger.”

Mrs. Vizzini lives in Fairless Hills and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development/Elementary Education from Neumann University.
