Teacher Feature of the Week: Ms. Roberts

We sat down with honors math teacher Ms. Roberts for this week's visit to the Teacher's Lounge!

What class do you teach?

I teach 4th-8th grade honors math!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of the classroom?

I love to go to the beach and enjoy crafting!

What is something students would be surprised to learn about you?

Nothing! My students have me in honors math for five years so they get to know everything!

What is your teaching philosophy?

Love what you are teaching, love who you are teaching, and they will follow your lead.

Who has influenced you most as an educator?

My student teaching supervisor.  

What is one thing a teacher said or did that resonated with you?

My teacher's constant willingness to lend a helping hand.

What is the most recent book you read?

Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.

What is your favorite quote/saying?

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world."

Ms. Roberts is from Trevose, PA  and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics and a Master of Education Degree from Kutztown University.
